Surrendering to Life is the Key to Positive Change! When I painted this Oil Painting it was at a difficult time period where I started to accept the "uncomfortable" changes in my life. Surrender is not giving up on life but on fighting with life. Surrender is saying “yes.” “Yes, I accept that this is an unwanted situation, and to think about how to make it better..” This is how surrender becomes the key to taking positive action and frees us from so many of the negative emotions that we strengthen by opposing reality. We don’t say that what’s happening is okay, but we accept that it’s happening and move onto what we can do about it.
Created over a fine-art, museum-quality canvas base derived from my original oil painting. For this work, I combined metallic pigments, acrylic, and oil paint to enhance light reflection and deepen the harmony within the blue tonal range. The surface gently shifts under changing light, radiating a calm and meditative presence with 24k gold accents. Each of my limited edition is hand-finished with new layers of paint transforming every work into a unique piece. Every piece carries its own texture and energy.
