About the Artist

Gulden Oguz is a self-taught visual artist, born and raised in Germany with Turkish heritage and based in Dubai since 2013. She creates large-scale oil paintings that merge surreal imagery with contemplative depth, conceived for distinguished collections and refined interior environments.

Working exclusively with traditional oil techniques, she builds layered compositions through expressive brushwork, transparent glazing, and the precise application of genuine 24-carat gold. The dialogue between pigment and metal produces a luminous, responsive surface that shifts with changing light. In her practice, gold serves both as material and metaphor, chosen for its long-held cultural significance and its ability to elevate the energetic frequency of the artwork.

Her artistic language often draws on a form of spiritual surrealism, where symbolic elements, dreamlike spaces, and inner states of awareness come together to suggest more than what is seen.
