About the Artist

Gulden Oguz is a self-taught visual artist, born and raised in Germany with Turkish roots. Since 2013, she has called Dubai home — a place where her artistic voice has flourished.

Initially drawn to the commercial world of marketing, Gulden eventually answered a deeper creative calling. What began as personal exploration evolved into a full-time commitment to painting — an inward journey that now finds expression on canvas.

Her transformation as an artist grew through immersion in oil painting and self-inquiry, awakening a sense of purpose rooted in inner truth. Inspired by the timeless wisdom of Rumi, her work often unfolds as visual poetry — pieces that invite reflection, stillness, and emotional depth.

Gulden’s large-scale oil paintings are created entirely by hand using traditional materials and classical layering techniques. With bold color palettes, luminous textures, and fluid strokes, her works transcend style — evoking both presence and transcendence.

Her paintings are available for both public and private display, including site-specific commissions tailored to interior spaces. Private viewings are available at her studio in Dubai by appointment.
